GAT is a VCS which steals the basic ideas from the ingenious GIT of Linus Torvalds
to guarantee the integrity of the repository and allow an distributed independent
development process with a local offline copy of the repository and easy syncing of
patchsets.  It steals a lot of CVS as well such that it's a single easy to use program.
